Welcome to "Interweaving Steps with Confidence", a transformative journey into the intricate slow steps of the FCBD® format.

This course is designed to help you build self-assurance while mastering complex movements. The foundation is simple yet profound: confidence flourishes through meaningful experiences. By blending analysis, focus, and creativity, you’ll learn to observe your progress, refine your technique, and embrace challenges with renewed energy.

Our work will center on organizing movements and enhancing transitions, guided by arm positions. These transitions are essential for confidence, as they clarify where each step begins and ends, allowing you to weave your dance into a seamless, graceful flow.

This four-part class includes:

Introduction and Preparation - Prepare for this course by reviewing all the arm positions with fun and effective drills!

Class One: Confidently Fluid - Explore the foundational 4 arm positions and dive into complex steps starting with the right hand on the hip. Focus on the Balancing Step, paired with isolations, to enhance fluidity and control. As a bonus, we’ll add the Circle Step with a Half Turn to build dynamic flow. This class aims to instill calm and confidence while mastering movements in this elegant posture.

Class Two: Confidently Open - Delve into complex steps that begin with horizontal arms, seamlessly transitioning between positions or staying grounded in horizontal symmetry. Practice isolations in this posture and learn smooth transitions from vertical arms to horizontal arms. This class will leave you feeling open and connected, with an emphasis on expressive flow.

Class Three: Confidently Seamless - Master complex steps starting and finishing with vertical arms, emphasizing confidence and fluidity. Special focus will be placed on turns and the art of creating seamless transitions. This class will inspire you to dance with poise and precision, exploring the elegance of vertical arm positions.

Class Four: Confidently Dynamic - Explore steps that flow from vertical arms into the striking Split (L) arm posture. Practice transitions from Split ( L ) arms to other positions, building strength and fluidity in these key movements. This class will empower you to feel confident in dynamic transitions, creating a harmonious and polished dance flow.

Join Emine to elevate your practice and transform your movements into an elegant tapestry of expression. Let’s embark on this exciting dance journey together!
